I'm doing my part every weekend by volunteering in the 41st Marin Designers Showcase house every Saturday in February.
It's a rough job I've signed up for.
KIDDING.
The guy on Dirty Jobs wouldn't know what to do.
I get to hang out in a $45 million dollar home in Belvedere, guiding people as they meander around this most amazing home. Every room is stunning. The views take your breathe away.
Oh, and did I mention it's for sale? Yes, it is. The nice folks at Sotheby's would love to talk to you if you're in the market.
I would be happy to be your personal chef or wine caretaker. I don't clean. So don't ask me to do that. You might have to give my parents a "job" too. They're going to want to move in. My dad makes excellent martini's, and my mom is a master snack maker.
Stop by and visit me between 12:30 and 3:30!
All the funds from the tour go to the Center For Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership.
You can purchase tickets on line, or at the door.

The view. aaaah..... |
Well, Don and I got to help Kimberly Rider with some of the pieces in the Showcase house from 2010. Our space was the Game Room. Kimberly took this totally ho-hum space and turned it into a room kids and adults would want to hang out in. It was really cool.
